Dr. Kathleen Morrell is the Associate Chair of Education, Director of Family Planning Division and the Residency Program Director in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.
Dr. Morrell received her medical degree from SUNY-Upstate in Syracuse, did her residency in OBGyn at Albert Einstein/Montefiore in the Bronx and did her fellowship in Complex Family Planning as well as receiving her Master’s Degree in Public Health from Columbia University. She is the ACOG District II Treasurer, a member of the Legislative Committee, and has served on multiple ACOG national committees. She is the Medical Advisor for the NYC Department of Health CATCH program offering reproductive health services in public high schools, and moonlights for Planned Parenthood in New York City.
